Mr. Murray's practice focuses on white collar criminal defense and complex civil litigation. Mr. Murray has represented corporations, organizations, and individuals in grand jury investigations, including investigations of health care fraud, mail and wire fraud, securities fraud, environmental violations, and antitrust violations. In addition, Mr. Murray has represented clients in various complex civil litigation, including the defense of corporations and individuals in lawsuits brought under the False Claims Act, the defense of a law firm in a lawsuit for abuse of process in which summary judgment was granted in favor of the law firm, the defense of a law firm for legal malpractice which resulted in the dismissal of the complaint, the defense of a former corporate officer in a lawsuit for fraud and breach of fiduciary duty, and the defense of a corporation in a breach of contract action.

Prior to joining Vaira & Riley, Mr. Murray was an associate with a Philadelphia law firm where he focused on complex civil litigation, including securities and antitrust class action litigation.
